Fragmenter – Reconstruire

Mon travail se présente souvent en fragments. Il serait plus juste de dire qu'il émerge sous forme de morceaux plutôt que d'être découpé à partir d'une unité. Dès mes premiers dessins et vidéos, l'idée de fractionner l'unité et de rassembler les fragments faisait naturellement partie de ma vision artistique. Les contraintes spatiales de mes espaces de travail ont certainement influencé cette approche, mais ce n'est pas la seule raison. À l'instar de petits points se regroupant pour former un écran lumineux, mes œuvres se rassemblent continuellement pour créer un mode d’expression unique. Une œuvre terminée ou une forme de représentation déterminée peut, à tout moment, rencontrer un autre espace et contexte, et redevenir un élément fragmentaire.

Fragment – Reconstruct

My works are often in fragments. It would be more accurate to say that they emerge in pieces rather than being cut from a single unit. From my earliest drawings and videos, the idea of breaking up the whole and gathering the fragments was naturally part of my artistic vision. The spatial constraints of my workspaces have certainly influenced this approach, but they are not the only reason. Like small points coming together to form a bright screen, my works continuously assemble to create a unique mode of expression. A completed work or a determined form of representation can, in any time, encounter another space and context, and become a fragmentary element once again.
