Le processus de la création artistique est conduit par la main de l’artiste, avec ses mouvements permanents et répétitifs. Les mains créatives réunissent les fragments du passé et leur donne une nouvelle vie présente. Suivant les lignes tracées par elles-mêmes, les mains deviennent les yeux de l’esprit qui caressent des scènes et moments touchables de la vie.

The working process of the artist is led by his/her hands in their permanent and repetitive movements. The creative hands put together the pieces of the past and give them a life of the present. Hands following the lines traced by themselves become the eyes of the mind which caress touchable scenes and moments of the life.

i : n hand (a hand-made day)는 작가의 하루를 손의 행위를 통해 그려내는 비디오아트 작품이다. 손은 작은 제스처에서 큰 결정까지, 아날로그 혹은 디지털 도구들과, 그리고 일상에서 뿐만 아니라 일에서도 자신만의 역할을 충실히 수행한다. 작품 속에서 손은 먼저 이불위를 살포시 걸어간다. 깨어난 손가락이 빈공간을 “터치”하고 그 공간에는 곧이어 지문과도 같은 그림이 그려져 나간다. 그림에서는 작은인물이 자신의 행성을 타고 손의 세상으로 들어간다. 꿈틀대는 애벌레가 나비가 되듯 손과 인물은 방에서 나와 세상으로 나간다. 야외 장면들은 작가의 생활공간인 파리의 풍경으로 마치 산책을 하듯 손가락으로 걸어간다. 그리고 다시 집으로 들어와 컴퓨터 앞에 앉고, 글을 쓰고, 그림을 그리고, 또 피아노를 연주한다. 즉 손으로 만들어가는 하루가 또 한페이지 쌓이고 손에서 탄생한 인물도 집안 한 구석에 자리를 잡는다.
